ULSB MK - III based on TDM switching is a state-of-the art switch board, designed to provide local / trunk communication to a field unit. It terminates local telephones, subscribers (Auto/Magneto/ISDN BRI), Analog Junction i.e. TWT, CO, RD and E&M and Digital Trunk on E1 at Unit and Sub Unit Level. The switch board provides efficient call switching facilities amongst local subscribers and with subscribers of other existing connected either directly or networked through digital links (E1 PCM).                                             

The switch board is light weight, compact transportable and suitable for use under field conditions. The switchboard can be mounted in a vehicle using Vehicle installation Kit (VIK) and also be carried manpack along with the accessories with the help of a specially designed harness.
